Kalekim, which is the market leader brand of Kalekim corporation, among the companies of Kale Group in tile adhesive and grouting mortar products, has introduced its new waterproofing products to the visitors in International TurkeyBuild 2007 Istanbul Fair. Kalekim, which speeded its activities with the progress achieved in the waterproofing group, has introduced five new waterproofing products in the fair. Kalekim, which provides the most appropriate solutions to every problem in the waterproofing sector with its new and current products, aims to lead in the waterproofing product group. The new waterproofing products IzoPur, IzoPur Trans, IzoBlok 2K, IzoSeal, IzoStop introduced by Kalekim in the fair has been met with great interest by the visitors.

Kalekim Offers Technical Solutions...

In connection with the developments in the construction sector, Kalekim has also added polyurethane adhesive to its product line following cement-based, acrylic, and epoxy adhesives.

Kalekim, the market leader in the building chemicals sector in Turkey, has added TechnoFull to its products which provide solution to ceramic applications. TechnoFull especially provides a great deal of ease and speed in bonding of large sized coating materials like granite, ceramic, etc. on large scale floors as in shopping malls, trade centers, hospitals, schools, hotels, etc. Moreover, TechnoFull enables place to open to use by fast setting.

Five New Waterproofing Solution from Kalekim

IzoPur Polyurethane Waterproofing System, which is among the waterproofing solutions introduced by Kalekim for the first time in the fair, provides a long lasting waterproofing in roofs, balconies and terraces with its resistance to water and frost; by maintaining its flexible structure under the sunrays; and with its resistance against fading and chalking. IzoPur Trans, apart from having the same features as IzoPur, can provide waterproofing in ceramic-coated leaking places like terraces and balconies without having to break the current ceramic and to install a new one, and without damaging the decorative feature of the place thanks to its transparent feature.

Elastic, two-component and water-based bitumen waterproofing material IzoBlok 2K can be quickly applied with a brush or a roll on foundations, curtain walls, retaining walls and basements which are permanently underground and in contact with water. It provides a flexible and seamless waterproofing resistant to high water pressure.

Cement-based, crystalline waterproofing mortar IzoSeal is applicable on either positive or negative side. It provides waterproofing by filling its formed crystals into the concrete’s capillary tracts and shrinkage cracks up to 0,4mm. In this way, it becomes possible to provide waterproofing against the direction where the water comes. For instance, the waterproofing of a basement floor surrounded by cement curtains where the water flows from the outside can be performed with an application made from the inside.

Another product presented by Kalekim regarding waterproofing is IzoStop. It is a waterproofing, rapid setting cement-based plug mortar that prevents active water leakages in several minutes. Kalekim IzoStop provides efficient and rapid solution in preventing and plugging the pressured active water leakages in basements, foundations, curtain walls, concrete water tanks and concrete pipes, before the application of waterproofing materials. It is also used in filling and waterproofing of cable transitions, pipe transitions, and tie-rod holes. All kinds of waterproofing material can be applied on IzoStop. It also prevents concrete structure from corrosion.
