Kalekim Introduces Its Restoration Solutions in Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair

Kalekim, the market leader in ceramic tile adhesive and grouting mortar products, has introduced its solutions to the sector professionals and end users in Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair. During the fair held in Istanbul Fair Center in June 7-10, restoration solutions introduced by Kalekim have been met with great interest by the visitors.

In the Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair, Kalekim, which is the market leader brand of Kalekim among the companies of Kale Group in ceramic tile adhesive and grouting mortar products, has introduced its restoration solutions to the visitors who will renovate their places.

Kalekim, which speeded its activities with the progress achieved in the waterproofing group, has introduced IzoPur, IzoPur Trans, IzoLatex Plus, IzoLine and Durex products. As for the ceramic tile adhesives and grouting mortar group where the company is the sector leader, Kalekim has introduced SuperTech which is used in ceramic tiles over paint and ceramic tiles over plaster panel. Another product introduced by Kalekim in this group is GraniTech which is used in ceramic re-coating on old ceramics. Kalekim, which is an expert in ceramic applications, has introduced its newly developed product TechnoPur for the first time which can be used in tile applications on different surfaces without any problems. TechnoFlex high performance flexible adhesive mortar has also been introduced in the fair. In the Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair where RapiTech adhesive mortar that can set quickly for the places to be opened to use in one day has been also presented, Kalekim’s cement-remover, stain-remover and surface protector product group SeraCare has been met with interest especially by women visitors. Kalekim Offers Technical Solutions... In connection with the developments in the construction sector, Kalekim has also added polyurethane adhesive to its product line following cement-based, acrylic, and epoxy adhesives. TechnoPur is a multi-purpose product which provides solution in bonding many coating materials like ceramic and parquet on various surfaces such as concrete, metal, and wood.

TechnoFlex is another product that has been added by Kalekim, the leader brand in building chemicals sector of Turkey, to its products which provide solutions to ceramic applications. TechnoFlex is preferred by professionals with its high performance in places like cold storage depots, deep freeze depots where sudden temperature changes occur; in exterior surfaces of the ovens, sub-heated systems; in places like shopping malls, hospitals, schools where there is high pedestrian and load traffic. TechnoFlex is used for bonding coating materials like floor ceramic tiles and wall ceramic tiles, granite, porcelain ceramic, clinker, decorative bricks and marbles. It can also be used in wet areas like pools and water tanks.

SuperTech is frequently preferred by the masters in bonding tiles on plaster panels, gypsum plaster and painted surfaces. Apart from providing a practical and clean application, it also saves on consumption by point and linear application. This cement-based adhesive mortar is used in bonding coating materials like granite ceramics, natural granite, large-sized ceramics, porcelain ceramics, cotto, and clinker. New Waterproofing Solution from Kalekim

IzoPur Polyurethane Waterproofing System, which is among the waterproofing solutions introduced by Kalekim for the first time in the fair, provides a long lasting waterproofing in roofs, balconies and terraces with its resistance to water and frost; by maintaining its flexible structure under the sunrays; and with its resistance against fading. IzoPur Trans, apart from having the same features as IzoPur, can provide waterproofing in ceramic-coated leaking places like terraces and balconies without having to break the current ceramic and to install a new one, and without damaging the decorative feature of the place thanks to its transparent feature.

In the Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair, IzoLatex Plus has been also introduced which provides waterproofing in constantly wet places,  wet surfaces, balconies, foundations, curtain walls. IzoLatex Plus is a double component and cement-based waterproofing mortar. It has extra elasticity and it is suitable to come in contact with drinking water in water tanks.

Another product introduced by Kalekim in the fair is Durex. Durex is silicon based concentrated impregnation and primer material that strengthens the surface without giving it any color and gloss. It can be used with ease in impregnation of porous mineral construction elements like decorative brick, clinker, concrete, gas concrete, travertine, and roof tile where water impregnation is required. It can also be used for priming the mineral surfaces on which paint and plaster shall be applied and for impregnation of all painted and plastered surfaces with low water resistance.

Women show great interest in SeraCare.

In cleaning and protecting ceramic tiles after the repairs, SeraCare provides a great deal of ease for women. SeraCare product group has three types: cement-remover, stain-remover and surface protector. In the Building Renovation and Restoration ’07 Istanbul Fair, SeaCare has been met with interest especially by women visitors. One of the most common problems encountered by women in cleaning houses after repair is removing cement-based construction residues and mortar residues. With SeraCare Cement-Remover, this cleaning gets easier. SeraCare Cement-Remover is an acidic cleaning material which cleans off cement residues from acid resistant coating materials without producing harmful gases. With SeraCare Cement-Remover, women can quickly clean their houses after repair.

In the fair Kalekim has also introduced two more products from SeraCare product group: SeraCare Stain Remover and SeraCare Surface Protector. SeraCare Stain Remover is used in removing the stubborn stains like coffee, oil, fruit juice from coating materials and fugas. With its water repellent feature, SeraCare Surface Protector is used for making coating materials and fugas resistant to stains and external conditions.
